I cannot install it on OSX Catalina.
    Is it normal…?

Yes the installer files for Mac is missing. Having trouble to get this installed on macOS Catalina. It says trial version patched using crack still on trial version.

I managed to get this working on Catalina,

I’ll rewrite the OSX instructions in case anyone else is stuck on this. This is how I got it working:

    [MacOSX]
    0. Uninstall previous versions and get the XLN Online installer from the offical website and install the Addictive Drums demo.

    1. Disable your internet connection.

2.Run the software, go to the ? button in the top right and choose `About AD2`, at the bottom you’ll see the computer ID, copy this or write it down then close the app.

    3. Burn or mount the ISO.
Copy the `Addictive Drums 2` folder from the mounted iso/drive to :
    ~/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/
There should already be a folder here of the same name, so just overwrite/replace everything.

    4. Run the keygen on Windows.
Input ComputerID you found from the log file.
Click “Generate (OSX)”, save the license.
Locate the generated license (LicensesOI.txt) to :
    /Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/XLN Online Installer/App/Licenses/

    5. The only files you’ll now need are from the torrent are the VST and Component files inside the torrent /XLN_AddictiveDrums2_219_OSX/Plug-Ins folder. Ignore the file in the applications folder.

The .vst file should go into ~/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/Plug-Ins/VST and the .component file into ~/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/Plug-Ins/Components, overwriting the existing ones.

    6. Launch the app, you might still get a mismatch error when launching the app/vst but it still works fine. You can now restore your internet connection.

    Hope this helps!

Hey! I did all of this, but got confused with step number 5. I’m assuming you meant ~/Library/Audio/Plugins/VST and ~/Library/Audio/Plugins/Components .

My only issue now is that my DAW (Logic Pro X) can’t see Addictive Drums 2 anymore. Did I mess it up by replacing the VST and Component files in the wrong locations? I couldn’t find any XLN Audio/Plugin-Ins folder so I had to make do.

Please get back to me when you can, thank you

  5. Seth

Ah yeah I made a mistake there, it should be in ~/Library/Audio/Plugins/VST and ~/Library/Audio/Plugins/Components as you say. I’m not sure about that DAW software, I use it either standalone to map my drum kit to or through FL studio. FL studio has a re-scan plug-in option that usually refreshes things like that.

Thanks for the response! Upon restarting my Macbook Pro today I realized that Addictive Drums 2 is now visible. A new issue now presents itself, whenever I try to ppen the VST it crashes whicever program it’s running in. Do you know a solution to this problem? Is it possible that Catalina somehow invalidates these cracks?
    Cheers

Hi sorry to bother, everything went well but evertime I open it , every single drum pack is on a 10 days trial. is there any way to fix this or is it just normal,

    Reply
  8. MArk

Same here. I did all the installation process and thought it worked but still I get the “preview” sign on most of the drum packs and not the full thing.

    Any help would be lovely.

    thanks

I think if you’re getting the 10 day error you haven’t placed the .component and .vst files in the right place.

The torrent contains a folder called /XLN_AddictiveDrums2_219_OSX/Plug-Ins which contains two files.

Addictive Drums 2.component should be copied to ~/Library/Audio/Plugins/Components, replacing the original file.
Addictive Drums 2.vst should be copied to ~/Library/Audio/Plugins/VST, replacing the original file.

If you miss this step you’ll still be using the original component/VST which contain the 10 day trial code.

Followed all of the steps, including putting the component and VST into the correct folders, but still getting the 10-day trial expired message.

Mine works but only in the standalone app (and with the 10-day trial warning).
The AU in Ableton Live 10 crashes and it doesn’t even detect the VST2.

I really don’t want to pay hundreds of dollars just for digital samples of every common drum sound conveniently grouped into a front-end software. I’d probably pay $100 for all the AD2 samples in a .zip file.

  16. Joe Dalton

    Well so far so bad.
    I did all the steps.
The keygen runs on mac using wine BTW .
Now AD2 is not passing the authorization in Logic and if I tru it crashes.

I tried installing this on OSX. I installed the demo/trial version of Addictive Drums 2 that installed to a folder in Application Support called Addictive Drums 2, not XLN Audio. I followed all of the useful steps that Seth provided in an earlier comment. Because of the new folder that wasn’t XLN Audio, I wasn’t able to get it working properly, even after creating an XLN Audio folder and following all the instructions. Sorry if this isn’t very descriptive of my issue, I’m not particularly tech-savvy. Should I move the Addictive Drums 2 folder into a created XLN Audio folder? Any tips would be appreciated – thanks!

    Hey Joe,
i’ve actually come to find that this is a Logic specific problem. AD2 is working just fine for me in both Ableton and Reason. I’d appreciate it if anyone here knew how to fix the issue with Logic but I guess this is all we have for now haha

    Hi everyone,
I’m on MacOS Big Sur 11.1 and I had troubles with installing AD2, but after a couple of hours of trials and failures I finally managed to get it working.
My problem was with the crack, which caused the stand-alone app to crash, the .vst to not being recognized by my DAW (reaper, gave a strange error while scanning it) and the .component causing my daw (reaper) to crash upon loading it.
I have no clue why this works nor if this will work for you, but is has worked for me. I also removed everything and repeated the process two times in order to test it, and it worked all the times.

    Here are the steps:
    1. download xln audio online installer from official site
    2. install addictive drums 2 (trial version)
note: do not install any additional AD2 package
    3. mount the iso and copy “App” and “Sound Data” folders to “/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/Addictive Drums 2/” (replace existings)
    4. get ComputerId from logs. You can obtain it by clicking in the “?” button inside the apps, or if you’re geeky you can run this in terminal:
    cat ~/Library/Logs/Addictive\ Drums\ 2\ Logs/* | grep -i computerid
    of
    cat cat ~/Library/Application\ Support/XLN\ Online\ Installer/Settings/ComputerId.txt
    5. run keygen (you can run it with wine too), paste computer id (do not use “get” button), save licenses file somewhere
    6. copy (not move) above file to “/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/XLN Online Installer/App/Licenses/” and replace old one
note: do not delete the file you copied, you will need it again later (you can regenerate it too)
    7. copy “XLN_AddictiveDrums2_219_OSX/Applications/XLN Audio/Addictive Drums 2.app/Contents/MacOS/Addictive Drums 2” to “/Applications/XLN Audio/Addictive Drums 2.app/Contents/MacOS/Addictive Drums 2”
note: everything inside the “” is one line
    8. run the stand-alone app, it won’t open and will crash
    9. run again xln online installer and update addictive drums 2 to latest version, and close it
note: this is used only to restore the .app file
    10. repeat steps 3-4-5-6
    11. if you re-open the .app or the vst/au, you will get the wrong resources/mismatch warning, but just ignore it, everything will work

    Done.

There is no need to overwrite the .vst or .component.
The key here are steps 7-8, from the terminal I could see that the application loads something but then crashes, and I guess that the short startup load is actually validating something. But this is just a guess.

    Hi Giuseppe,
I’m sorry to hear this. I honestly don’t have any idea why this works for me. As I said, I also tried to remove every single file related to XLN Audio / AD2 and tried again, and it always works. If I don’t follow exactly these steps, I get the 10 days trials mode too.

I just did a screenshot to show you that in Reaper everything works correctly. The screenshot shows the vst version, but the AU/component version works too, as well as the standalone app.
    Here is the screenshot: https://ibb.co/LSBRQWb

The only things that I can think of are:
    – did you remember to copy the “App” and “Sound Data” folders the second time too?
    – are you generating the correct LicensesOI.txt file with the keygen? Be sure to copy the computer id correctly
    – the original LicensesOI.txt file is in a privileged location – have you verified that you’re copying the generated one correctly? The original should have only a couple of lines, while the cracked should have dozens (mine has 83)
I’m sorry that I can’t be more helpful.

    We solved the problem.
In his specific case, he had an older version of MacOS (not sure which, but not Big Sur).
After step 7, when he tried to open the .app, he had a message that said “Unable to open application”.
We had to run the following command in the terminal:
    chmod a+x “/Applications/XLN Audio/Addictive Drums 2.app/Contents/MacOS/Addictive Drums 2”

Then the application opened without crashing, but it’s ok too, just close it and proceed with the steps.

    Hi All,

I finally resolved the issue on my end, no more 10 days trial as well as the annoying “outdated resource”.

I’m using Catalina 10.15.7. So I don’t know if this will work on older versions.

So most of what I have will be a revision of what Alessandro did on his end. I will also copy some of his steps just so that I can show here what was different with my approach

    Here are the steps:
    1. download xln audio online installer from official site
    2. install addictive drums 2 (trial version)
note: do not install any additional AD2 package
    3. mount the iso and copy “App” and “Sound Data” folders to “/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/Addictive Drums 2/” (replace existing ones)
    4. get ComputerId from logs.

====== This is the part where I deviated ======
    7. open terminal, run the following command:
    ——
    cd Downloads/XLN.Audio.Addictive.Drums.2.Complete.v2.1.9.WIN.OSX-R2R/XLN_AddictiveDrums2_219_OSX/Applications/XLN\ Audio/Addictive\ Drums\ 2.app/Contents/MacOS
    —–
THEN run this exact command as well
    —–
    cp Addictive\ Drums\ 2 /Applications/XLN\ Audio/Addictive\ Drums\ 2.app/Contents/MacOS/
    —-
    8. run the stand-alone app, IF IT CRASHES or HAS ANY ISSUES, do 8.1 and 8.2, if not then skip ahead
8.1. run again xln online installer and update addictive drums 2 to latest version, and close it
note: this is used only to restore the .app file
    8.2. repeat steps 3-4-5-6

    9. if you re-open the .app or the vst/au, you will get the wrong resources/mismatch warning, but just ignore it, everything will work

    Done.

Note: After running the program in its complete form once, you won’t get the wrong resource issue again, unless your DAW has to refresh the check of audio units.

    Hi Jordan,
the output you get comes from a copy-past error.

    Please copy the command:
    chmod a+x “/Applications/XLN Audio/Addictive Drums 2.app/Contents/MacOS/Addictive Drums 2”
but replace the double apices before and after the path, by writing them yourself.

If this still doesn’t work, please type this equivalent command:
    chmod a+x /Applications/XLN\ Audio/Addictive\ Drums\ 2.app/Contents/MacOS/Addictive\ Drums\ 2

I’m not digging into the details, but the terminal doesn’t like spaces in folder/file paths.
Also, it may happen that when copying commands from the browser, the apices are copied “wrong”: they look the same by, if you look closer, they are a little different (looks like italic). Just write them yourself.

If you get any permission error please prepend “sudo” in front of the command, and type your admin password.

Let me know if it helps

what should happen when I run the code in terminal? should I get any response?

no, the command doesn’t output anything, but if you run then this command:
    ls -l /Applications/XLN\ Audio/Addictive\ Drums\ 2.app/Contents/MacOS/Addictive\ Drums\ 2
you should get a line that starts with something like this:
    -rwxrwxr-x …..
The important part are the three ‘x’ (executable permissions).

when I install addictive drums 2 demo from their website I don’t have folder named XLN Audio in application support – I have only Addictive Drums 2 in apps – somebody know what’s going on? thanks!

Hi Alessandro – I really appreciate these tips, but sadly I’m still struggling with the installation. I followed as much of it as I could before giving up after seeing that the online installer wasn’t showing that the application needed repair. I do have the new M1 MacBook Pro, with Big Sur installed, so maybe this is why I’m having so much difficulty?

Basically, every time I do the installation from XLN Online Installer, the Addictive Drums 2 folder in Application Support is not in an XLN Audio folder at all. It’s just Application Support\Addictive Drums 2. Within that folder, I only see a “1174037” folder and an “External MIDI Files” folder. Am I missing something here? Do I need to create a folder?

I just have one other question – this is about copying the application. Do I need to do that copy in Terminal? I’ve never used Terminal before, so feel a little intimidated 🙂 I’d appreciate any help you can give – let me know if emailing you would be easier.

    @Alogrhythm two things:
    – I have no idea if this method works on M1 chips. For sure, the binaries are compiled differently since it is an ARM based processor.
    – it looks like you’re browsing under ~/Library/Application Support folder, since I have a similar folder there with similar contents. Instead, you must look in /Library/Application Support/ (notice the missing ‘~’. OT: the ‘~’ represents your user account home: ~ = /Users/[account-name]).

To everyone: I managed to install the software on my mac multiple times (Big Sur 11.1), and also on some friends mac using Big Sur, except one that used Mojave. All of them has Intel chips (not M1), and all of them works correctly. Therefore, please follow the steps *literally* (also read some comments later for further tips).
The only one friend using Logic is the Mojave one, and we verified the plug-ins works also under Logic, but I have no evidence of my method working with Logic Pro + Catalina/BigSur.

For anyone who has got this to work, could someone please post a definitive, step-by-step, in detail, guide to how to install this? I’ve tried BrokeMusician’s guide and Alessandros, as well as Seths, and I still am getting the error when opening the standalone application, and then the stupid 10 day trial issue too. Here’s what I have done, so please let me know where I have gone wrong so I can hopefully get this to work.

For background, I am using a M1 MacBook Pro, running latest Big Sur update. What files & folders should I be moving to trash in order to get this to work as technically a fresh install? I’m wondering if just clicking Uninstall on XLN Online Installer is not enough, and it’s kept some files or folders from previous installs that are basically preventing the crack to run correctly.

    1) I downloaded XLN Online Installer, and installed Addictive Drums 2. I did not install the Fairfax demo.
    2) Mounted the iso, copied/replaced over App & Sound Data folders to /Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/Addictive Drums 2/ like others have said
    3) Got computer id using the geeky Terminal hack, then ran the keygen using CrossOver.
    4) Saved license file to my desktop, it has dozens of lines ending with a XOCP001 line. Copied & replaced the license file to the Licenses folder in XLN Audio/XLN Online Installer/Licenses.
    5) I entered the code in step 7 from BrokeMusician into Terminal. Looks like it’s copying an application from one folder to another?
    6) Opened Addictive Drums 2 app after that, got the GUI Boot issue again.
    7) Reinstalled AD2 from XLN, once again moved app & sound data folder, ran keygen & then copied and replaced the License folder.
    8) Reopened AD2 and still get the same issues.

I would honestly gladly pay someone a small fee to get this working for me! Pulling out any hair that I have left in my head at the moment. Thanks for any help!

    Hi Alogrhythm,
I’m curious to test the procedure on M1 macs since I’m planning on buying one, therefore feel free to write me at [email protected] and we’ll try to solve it

For all the others with non-M1 macs: I got some emails telling me they succeded, therefore believe me: if it’s not working, you are NOT following the steps correctly.

Alright, everyone, I’m seeing some of you have problems with the methods listed here. First of all a big, big S/O to Alessandro and BrokeMusician.

I got this to work standalone and on both Logic and Ableton. I’m running a 10.14.6 Mojave Macbook. BrokeMusician’s instructions and some tweaking were what did it for me!

From what I’ve read in some of the previous comments, this should work most likely work for Catalina as well albeit maybe a few tweaks if required.

So, below are the steps from Alessandro and BrokeMusician but there are some crucial moments to pay attention to that I’ve added:

    1. Download the XLN Audio Online Installer from the official site.

    2. Install AD2 (trial version)
note: do not install the Fairfax Demo pack.

    3. Mount the .DMG and copy “App” and “Sound Data” folders to “/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/Addictive Drums 2/” (replace existing ones).

    4. Get your computer ID from logs. You can obtain it by clicking on the “?” button inside the Addictive Drums App, or if you’re geeky you can run this in the terminal:

    cat ~/Library/Logs/Addictive\ Drums\ 2\ Logs/* | grep -i computerid

    or

    cat cat ~/Library/Application\ Support/XLN\ Online\ Installer/Settings/ComputerId.txt

    5. Run keygen (you can run it with wine too). For some of you noobs, Wine is a software the allows you to open up certain .exe files on a Mac. Paste computer ID (do not use “get” button), save the license file on your desktop.

    6. Copy (not move) the above file to “/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/XLN Online Installer/App/Licenses/” and replace the old one.

Now here is where a lot of people got stuck. The main thing here is to check whether your Addictive Drums standalone application works at this stage. But, please read below before opening it up.

Alessandro’s instructions at this point mentioned to do a step no 7 that stated: copy “XLN_AddictiveDrums2_219_OSX/Applications/XLN Audio/Addictive Drums 2.app/Contents/MacOS/Addictive Drums 2” to “/Applications/XLN Audio/Addictive Drums 2.app/Contents/MacOS/Addictive Drums 2”

This is what actually messed it up for me. The file in “XLN_AddictiveDrums2_219_OSX/Applications/XLN Audio/Addictive Drums 2.app/Contents/MacOS/Addictive Drums 2” is actually a text edit file and not an ‘exec’ file. So it doesn’t work if you replace the original with this one. As a result, my standalone app was not opening.

Instead, just skip step 7 from Alessandro’s guide and instead follow step 7 from BrokeMusician’s guide below:

    7. Open terminal, run the following command:
    ——
    cd Downloads/XLN.Audio.Addictive.Drums.2.Complete.v2.1.9.WIN.OSX-R2R/XLN_AddictiveDrums2_219_OSX/Applications/XLN\ Audio/Addictive\ Drums\ 2.app/Contents/MacOS
    —–
THEN run this exact command as well
    —–
    cp Addictive\ Drums\ 2 /Applications/XLN\ Audio/Addictive\ Drums\ 2.app/Contents/MacOS/
    —-

NOW, open your AD2 Standalone application.

If it opens up with a wrong resources dialogue box, just click ‘ok’ and you should have all your kits in FULL. NO TRIAL/10 DAY BULLSHIT should show up. You are basically done at this stage. You have replaced the sound libraries and you have replaced the licenses. It is actually just as simple as that. When you open it up in Logic/Abelton, the same ‘wrong resources’ thing will pop up but everything will work and the next time you open the software, the ‘wrong resources’ dialogue box won’t be there. So congrats to you and bless your mothers.

If it doesn’t open up, there is basically a problem with the .app file which is inside the AD2 application folder. You can check this file by clicking ‘Show Package Contents’ on your AD2 application (which is in your Applications folder) and navigating to Contents/MACOS/Addictive Drums 2. This file should be an ‘exec’ file. In this case, you can follow steps 8.1 and 8.2 listed below from BrokeMusician’s guide:

8.1. Run the XLN online installer once again and update addictive drums 2 to latest version, and close it
note: this is used only to restore the .app file
    8.2. Repeat steps 3-4-5-6

I hope this helps anyone whos still struggling with this! The big moment is after step 6 – make sure to run those terminal commands and everything should be fine!

Your method worked for removing the trial issue – one of the problems I’m now facing is no sound in the standalone or DAW plugin! The grooves are playing and the samples are detected, but no audio passing through outputs at all. No clue why it’s doing this! It’s been reinstalled multiple times too. Logic Pro X 10.4.8 is being used.

    Any idea?

This also goes out to others who might also know the solution.

I didn’t realise that some kits were working:
    Funk Kit/Selections
    Modern Jazz Bundle/Sticks/Brushes
    Retroplex Kit
Retro Bundle/Blue Oyster Kit/Black Oyster Kit
    Studio Bundle Prog/Pop/Rock

The rest do not play, which makes me assume majority of the kits are corrupt? Not sure if I should find them elsewhere…

I had the same problem with some kits working and others reverted back to trial. But this was only within Logic not in the Standalone

Logic however rescanned the plugins upon launch and then I got the kits back.

as @KzK said, had the same problem and solved it by:
    1. closing (in my case) Cubase
    2. restarting my computer
    3. opening the standalone version
    4. opening Cubase

all the kits that said “no licence” now are working. This should also work on other DAWs, but before that make sure you did all the steps in the comments above.

Hello. First of all, thank you for all the tips here! Such a resource. Unfortunately, I’ve done all the steps, I’ve gotten everything to work except that the kits say that “the program resources have the wrong version” and trial period is over on my drumkits. I’ve tried @Kzk method to get the standalone working but that doesn’t help either. I’ve tried to redo all the steps of installation according to @Kzk several times. But to no avail. I’m on Catalina. Am I screwed?

I should say that I made the mistake of installing the automatic ADpack that is prechecked when you do the install. But I then redid all the steps. Maybe there is some license part that can’t be overwritten once you’ve installed an official ADpack and try to then undo it? Thank you to anyone that might be willing to help!

After working for a under a month, a few of kits now say “Trial Expired”

These include: Black Velvet, Boutique Mallets, Blue Oystery, and Indie.

I tried deleting everything, reinstalling using a new account with XLN Online Installer, but it still said that these kits had expired. I think my computer ID was the same when I tried a fresh install with VPN, and a new XLN log-in.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, as these kits I used the most, and everything else in KzK’s instructions still works.

I have used both Mac and Win, I have to say windows is far better and user friendly! Much simplier!

Guys if you cant get the keygen to work you have to download 7zip extracter from google and the right click on the keygen and extract files here. You will then see the actual keygen inside the TEMP folder, just click and open as administrator and it will run fine!

Register your product and enjoy, no more trial version.

First things first, trillon thx to Alessandro, BrokeMusician & KzK for those many hours spent on get this *thing* working in many machines around the world. But i’m writing here ’cause i’m very dumbbbb… My system is Mojave running on a 480gb Kingston SSD, is a MacMini 5,1, model A1347 (middle 2011). This little kitty is a hurricane running heavy loads as Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2.6, Ample Sound guitars and Nucleus Orchestral, among other heavy plugins…, but i’m really lost about get the computerid. I don’t find any “?” symbol inside the app’s content folder, and the commands suggested for terminal returns me that there’s no paths as those mentioned ( “/Library/Logs/Addictive\ Drums\ 2\ Logs/* | grep -i computerid”, or “/Library/Application\ Support/XLN\ Online\ Installer/Settings/ComputerId.txt”). However, those folders are there!, ¿could be that i’ve missed to install some basic modules to Mojave?, it’s a fresh install, i wonder if the issue is related to an “orphan” cat command. As you see, i’m very newbie in Mac… Any help will be very appreciated.

hey guys! this is the solution (for Logic pro)

1-get the XLN Online installer from the offical website and install the Addictive Drums demo.
and this will create these 3 last folder /Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/XLN Online Installer/App/Licenses/
    (don’t create this manually)
2-uninstall this demo, so the .App and .Component and .vst will be deleted but not the “Audio Unit”
3- Burn or mount the ISO.
Copy the `Addictive Drums 2` folder from the mounted iso/drive to :
    ~/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/
4- put the .App .Component and .vst at the rigth folder
    Application,
    /Library/Audio/Plugins/VST and ~/Library/Audio/Plugins/Components .
    /Library/Audio/Plugins/VST and ~/Library/Audio/Plugins/Vst.
5-. Run the keygen on Windows.
Input ComputerID you found from the log file.
Click “Generate (OSX)”, save the license.
Locate the generated license (LicensesOI.txt) to :
    /Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/XLN Online Installer/App/Licenses/
and remplace the LicensesOI.txt who is bydefaut by the demo version,
    6-open Logic pro, enjoy!
IF Addictive drums 2 is not valided by logic pro even you rescan, SO force the validation

I got it to work on MacOS Monterey, I had issues opening the standalone and vst/au even after following all the steps but then fixed it, here’s how:

    1. follow ALL of the @KzK ‘s steps above
    2. search on rutracker for: XLN Audio Addictive Drums 2 Update v2.2.4 macOS-TRAZOR. It’s a one-step update. you will just need to run the .pkg
    3. you’re done. that was just the missing piece the standalone will work with all the kits and it even gets rid of the error message at launch

Thanks for everyone’s help with this. I have it working perfectly in Monterey.
Especially Alessandro, KzK, and Nick’s suggestion of using v2.2.4 macOS-TRAZOR installer at the end.

If you have issues running KzK’s 2 terminal commands it will be becasue you moved the folder from the expected Downloads folder. I have outlined the steps I followed from KzK and add Step 9 from Nick.

    7. Open terminal, run the following command, but make sure this folder (XLN.Audio.Addictive.Drums.2.Complete.v2.1.9.WIN.OSX-R2R) is in your downloads folder or the command will fail to copy the file!

    ——
    cd Downloads/XLN.Audio.Addictive.Drums.2.Complete.v2.1.9.WIN.OSX-R2R/XLN_AddictiveDrums2_219_OSX/Applications/XLN\ Audio/Addictive\ Drums\ 2.app/Contents/MacOS

    9. Finally (for monterey) – find this installer ‘XLN Audio Addictive Drums 2 Update v2.2.4 macOS-TRAZOR’ (I used https://beelink.pro/index.php?v=29357 I think)

Run the installer in XLN Audio Addictive Drums 2 Update v2.2.4 macOS-TRAZOR

    Reply
  81. Huber Bert

It makes no sense to repeat old instructions. Also XLNaudio has updated to 2.2.5. So when you update the online installer version from xln, and install then the Trazor package, your XLN folder in programs will be empty.
I’m getting the installation to work, but only ⅓ of the kits are available in my DAW, Logic. Thanks anyway, but the days of easy installation off addictive drums are gone.

@ SpookyCookie, for installation, are you using 2.1.5 or 2.1.9? I’m here with successful installation, but captivated with only ⅓ of the kits available (starting with ‘funk’) Bob Stevenson (here in the comments) had the same behavior of the installation earlier in 2021. Thanks for your help.

Hey I used whatevr the current official installer was on 24th Mar, with the sound libraries from 2.1.9 from this torrent. And running the 2.2.4 Trazor update. I had to copy the sound libraries more than once. And it took 2 attempts to compy the crack files using the terminal prompt, cos the first attempt failed for an unknown reason (step 7). I think at this point I started again , re-updated from the official installer to fix the application, and copied the libraries from the torrent over again, copied my license file, ran the terminal script again (step 7) ran the trazor. And all kits are still working
