PM-8910 features sounds from the Intellivision game console.
An emulation of the original AY-3-8910 three-mode programmable sound generator, the PM-8910 is packed with features for enthusiasts of classic chipset-based audio.
The AY-3-8910 and its variants were popular components in many arcade games and were used in systems such as the Intellivision and Vectrex consoles, the Amstrad CPC, Oric 1, Color Genie, Elektor TV Games Computer, and the Sinclair ZX Spectrum 128/+2/+3 home computers, as well as in the Mockingboard and Cricket sound cards for the Apple II family.
The PM-8910 serves as an ideal companion and addition to Puremagnetikβs ever-growing arsenal of retro-computer sounds and has been programmed as an instrument for the Kontakt sampler.
