Release notes for Superior Drummer 3.3.3

BUG FIXES
General
Using more than one CPU core (in Settings > Performance) was a potential source of various random crashes and freezes. It should be safe now.
Loading a Drums and Mixer Preset from the EZdrummer 3 core libraries or Big Stage EZX did not properly set the values of the macro controls.
On Windows, loading an auto-save would incorrectly treat it as a normal project and it would be added to the Open Recent menu.
Song Track
In Steinberg hosts when host playback was started and the plug-in window had not yet been opened, MIDI on the song track would not always be played at the beginning, depending on the playhead position and where it had last been stopped. Performing an Audio Mixdown would also result in silence from the song track before the position was reached where playback had last been stopped.
In Steinberg hosts, starting playback of the song track inside the plug-in (with the host still paused) not would not work properly if the SD3 playhead had been moved to an earlier position than the host playhead (with the Follow Host setting on).
Mixer Tab
It did not work to change sliders and knobs in the mixer channels with the setting “Mouse wheel changes controls in scrollable areas” on.
Tracker Tab
Looping was not working in the tracker.
Standalone
It did not work to open a project file from Finder/Explorer.

How to install the factory library?
1. Download “Basic Sound Library”
– if you need additional microphones, then download from other parts * of the factory library only files with the *.obw extension , which are located in the Sounds folders . We move these files to SL-SuperiorDrummer3/Sounds/ ( move only *.obw files, not the Sounds folder )
* I recommend downloading the second and fifth parts (parts 3 and 4 contain files for surround sound).
2. Download “The Superior Drummer 3 Library Update v1.2.0 and run Sound Updater.exe (Windows) or Sound Updater.app (MacOSX)
3. After the update, launch SD3 , click Settings – Libraries / Paths – Add Library Path(s) … – and select the SL-SuperiorDrummer3 folder
Installation is possible on a “clean” system, or over a previously installed version.

SD3 won’t start. It says ‘The Superior Drummer 3 plug-in could not be found.’
Run the following commands in the terminal:

sudo codesign –force –deep –sign – /Applications/Toontrack/Superior\ Drummer\ 3.app
sudo codesign –force –deep –sign – /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Superior\ Drummer\ 3.component
sudo codesign –force –deep –sign – /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/Superior\ Drummer\ 3.vst
