Description:
Airglow is a high-end atmospheric instrument from S1gns Of L1fe, designed for creating luminous melodic particles, crystalline overtones, cinematic shimmer, shifting air, textured dust, and evolving ambient motion.
Airglow 1.2 expands upon the original atmospheric instrument with four new sound engines, deeper modulation, and an updated interface, while maintaining full compatibility with existing presets and projects.
Overview:
– Four new engines: Sine, Granular, Particle, and Luminous Field — joining the existing Spray, Glass, Air, and Dust engines. Choose any of the eight engines for each of the four source slots (duplicates are permitted).
– Enhanced sound control: The new engines automatically adapt to the root key and scale, and feature independent octave controls. The Granular engine allows for adjustment of grain size, with the ability to extend tails via a “low gravity” setting. – Expanded modulation: four LFOs and ten routing slots, assignable via right-click, with unipolar/bipolar routing, custom curves, smoothing, and color-coded visual feedback around the knobs.
– Ten new factory presets: 22 in total, combining both classic and new engines.
– Updated interface: a dark teal aesthetic, particle animations for each engine, “Glow” visual effects, and a full-sized preset library.
– Improved text clarity and additional tooltips: includes the Inter font on both Mac and Windows, 100%/125% text scaling, and a tooltip toggle that remembers your preference across saved sessions and preset changes.
– Fixes for session recall and reverb: improved preset name updates, resolution of issues with long reverb tails, and better compatibility for legacy sessions and presets.
