Copy both folders EZX2_DarkMatter and MIDI to the folder where you have all the other sets \toontrack\ezdrummer
It has to be next to all other folders that begin with EZX and EZX2
Then if it still doesnt work because of version (if you dont have 2.1.8) go to:
open folder EZX2_DarkMatter
inside theres a file called Aversion – right click and untick “Read Only” apply ok
Right click Aversion file and Open with notepad
Change minreq EZ 2.1.8 to the version you have .3 or .6
Save.
And there you go.
Crazy, the problem is the activation process, how do we get around it?
Try this method, because it works for me. (for windows 10)
After you downloaded the file here (2 folders, EZX2_DarkMatter and Midi), just copy the folder EZX2_DarkMatter into C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Toontrack\EZDrummer. After copying, go back to the downloaded files and open the Folder Midi. You will find 2 folders (03@_EZX_LIBRARIES and 1925@EZX_DARK_MATTER), copy this 2 folders and paste it here C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Toontrack\EZDrummer\Midi. Open EZDrummer2 or Superior Drummer 3 and ENJOY!
really stupid answers here. people not asking you where to copy files. they ask you where is the activator/keygen file. Toontrack_KeyGen needed
