Description: Erhu (Chinese: δΊθ‘) is an ancient Chinese bowed string instrument, an original two-string violin with metal strings. During playing, the musician pulls the string of the bow with the fingers of his right hand, and the bow itself is fixed between two strings, forming a single whole with the erhu. The instrument is used as a solo instrument, in small ensembles, as well as in large orchestras. A very versatile instrument, the erhu is used in traditional and modern musical arrangements such as pop, rock, jazz, etc.
