Installation:

1. Install Ableton Live 12 (Do not launch after installation)
• Block Internet access to the Ableton Web Connector.exe file at:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Ableton\Live 12 Beta\Resources\Extensions\WebConnector\

2. Place and replace the Ableton Live 12 Beta.exe_file in the folder with the installed program. Default
C:\ProgramData\Ableton\Live 12 Beta\Program
Note:_If you changed the installation folder, then the file must be placed in it. (*\Ableton\Live 12 Beta\Program)

3. Launch Ableton Live and in the window that appears, click “No internet on this computer”.

4. Run ABLETON KEYGEN.exe, write version “12” > enter the hardware code/ID from the Live 12 registration window and press Enter (Authorize.auz will be generated)
Note:_When you click on “Save”, you can get a text file with hardware code.

5. Drag the Authorize.auz file to the registration window “Authorizing your software offline”
Note:_If you can’t drag the license file into the program window, then close Ableton Live Suite and run the resulting license file – “Open with” > Ableton Live Suite.

This will prevent Live 12 from automatically updating when a new version is released

    It didn’t open for me either. So I had uninstalled it and then tried to reinstall. This is when I opened task manager to discover that the installation was a 32bit install instead of a 64bit install. This is probably why it won’t open on a 64bit computer.

    I blocked internet access… and after few hours or a day or two… for random reasons, it still asks for a code… I use keygen again but it’s worthless… fucking Ableton

    its auto updating everytime i launch ableton i deleted install helper but its comingback after everytime i opens daw
