Description: SONiVOX announced the launch of Solina Redux, an Arp Solina emulation and a Virtual Analog Synthesizer.
SONiVOX’s Solina Redux virtual instrument adds a virtual analog synthesizer and two fully programmable sequencers to the classic Arp Solina String Ensemble playback. It was a standout machine in the 1970s, used by bands and artists such as Elton John, PinkFloyd, TheCure, JoyDivision, Tangerine Dream, NewOrder and many more. Its counterparts for violin, viola, cello, double bass and trumpet sound in a retro style, especially with the famous chorus effect.
Solina Redux gives users access to the original Solina sounds. The combination of these two synthesizers provides a sonic palette that is still relevant today. Each of them includes a multi-mode filter, amplitude and filter envelopes, LFO modulations and effects. Other controls include shutter time, tempo sync, time division, swing, notes, and octave shift.
