Powered by physical modeling, each instrument responds to the performer’s movements in real time,
recreating the natural interaction between the bow and the string, with fluid articulation and continuous control.
Designed to function as an integrated system, this bundle enables the creation of rich, expressive arrangements
that maintain a consistent and realistic sound across the entire range of the string instruments.
SWAM (Synchronous Waves Acoustic Modeling) is a sophisticated, proprietary, next-generation technology that allows musicians,
performers, and composers to overcome the classic limitations of traditional samplers. Developed by Stefano Lucato
and Emanuele Parravicini, the SWAM engine combines concepts of physical and behavioral modeling with a
multi-vector/phase-synchronous sample morphing method.
The SWAM engine is ideally suited for multi-vector, expressive acoustic instruments, such as woodwinds,
brass, and bowed strings. Currently, three versions of the engine are available—SWAM-B, SWAM-W, and SWAM-S—
designed for modeling brass, woodwind, and bowed string instruments, respectively.
