Description: A heavy bass that sounds consistent across the entire range.
Make the top end as wide and gritty as you like—the sub remains centered, sounding powerful and clean.
Overview:
Weight you can rely on.
A pure sine or triangle wave, always centered and phase-aligned with the “grind” layer, ensuring the layers reinforce rather than cancel each other out.
Full-bodied character.
A wavetable oscillator with its own dedicated filter, five types of distortion, up to seven voices, chorus, and stereo widening. It sits above the sub-bass range, allowing you to push it hard without muddying the low end.
A complete bass sound.
Sub-bass at the bottom, top-end texture layered on top—all from a single source, ensuring they sound perfectly in unison.
Five types of distortion.
Hard clipping, two saturation modes, and two wave-folding algorithms—ranging from warm to metallic. Add an offset for asymmetrical grit, or blend it in for a more subtle effect.
Widen the top end while keeping the sub-bass rock-solid.
Stack detuned voices, add chorus, and spread out the “grind”—all without affecting the sub-bass. A built-in stereometer shows how the sound will translate to mono.
Wavetable morphing.
Seamlessly morph from a sawtooth wave to folded, square, or triangle waves—either manually or via modulation.
Impact on every note.
“Knock” adds thud and sharpness to the sub-bass, while “Drop” introduces growl and clicks to every note—all while keeping the sub-bass perfectly in key.
Filter settings in musical terms.
Cutoff frequency and modulation are defined in musical intervals relative to the played note (e.g., “+2 octaves”) rather than in Hertz. With full pitch tracking, the sound remains consistent whether you play an E in the lower octave or two octaves higher.
Tuned resonance.
With full pitch tracking, the filter self-oscillates in alignment with the note you are playing.
Balanced levels.
Dedicated gain controls for the sub-tone and overall volume across the entire range. The default patch maintains a volume level within 1.5 dB across the two lowest octaves.
Per-note loudness.
A per-note scale indicator shows which notes sound quieter.
Spectrum with markers.
View the positions of your note and filter in real time.
Low-frequency stereo check.
A correlation meter, split just above the fundamental frequency, confirms that the low end remains centered.
Level and loudness.
Peak and instantaneous loudness, always visible in the header.
Consistent rendering.
The same notes and automation yield identical results, regardless of the buffer size.
Clean note transitions.
Rapid melodic lines, overlapping notes, and velocity changes do not cause unwanted clicks, and your attack settings remain unaffected.
Separate outputs.
Route the sub and the main signal to individual tracks for further processing or sidechaining.
Installation:
