Straightliner VSTi
Straightliner is a substrate synthesizer with a modern appearance. Here you will find well-known building blocks of classic analog synthesizers (4 oscillators, a filter, 2 envelope generators) combined in a traditional way.
Nevertheless, building blocks provide more flexibility, which can usually be seen in virtual subtractive (AKA ‘virtual analog’) synthesizers: instead of leaning on a set of fixed waveforms, Straightliner generators support the loading of arbitrary audio files (which can be in stereo) . The standard ADSR model for envelopes is replaced by a flexible modulation generator, which allows you to determine an arbitrary number of fracture points.
The heart of the substrate synthesizers, of course, is the filter. In this regard, Straightliner offers a multi-mode filter with 15 modes, including a complex Moog filter model. The synthesizer’s user interface is focused on visual editors optimized for editing on the screen with the mouse instead of hardware-oriented interfaces.
Features:
* Four independent oscillators, each of which can load stereo or mono audio files in .WAV or .WAV format. FLAC;
* Multimode filter with 15 modes, including a complex Moog filter model;
* Two flexible modulation generators with an arbitrary number of fracture points and nine variations of the shape of the line bend between any pair of fracture points;
* Support for micro-tuning by importing * .tun files;
* Hierarchical preset control allows you to load and save presets not only for the synthesizer as a whole, but also separately for each corresponding building block, so that patches can be easily crossed;
* Intuitive user interface WYSIWYG, allowing to understand patches at a glance.
EngineersFilter
EngineersFilter – filter (equalizer), which is well suited for radical interference in the audio signal, through filters with a very sharp decline and not only. All this is due to IIR filters of high order, such as “Butterworth”, “Chebychev”, inverse “Chebychev” and elliptical filters (Cauer), which are commonly used in science and engineering. With the help of all these filters, you can create “low-pass”, “high-pass”, “band-pass”, “band-reject”, “high- / low-shelving”, “peak / dip” and so on up to 20 types Filters.
CrossOver
Crossover is a plug-in that divides incoming signal into several frequency bands (in most cases, into four parts). It can be useful for creating its multi-band effect without resorting to the use of host sends.
The division into bands occurs by means of conjugate pair filters of low / high frequencies. The slope of the filter cut varies between 12 and 96 dB / octave. When using more than two bands, the signal is first divided into two parts (low and high) and then high or low are divided into two parts and so on in a hierarchical order.
EasyQ
EasyQ is an easy-to-use equalizer with multiple filters connected in series. Each filter can work in the following modes: a cut / cut (also known as a “bell”), also known as a “bell” or parametric equalizer, high- or low-shelving, notch and low- or high-pass (both 6 or 12 dB / Oct).
It is not demanding on CPU resources and does just what a standard equalizer should do without any additional gadgets. That’s why it is well suited for simple equalization.
Func Shaper
Func Shaper – distortion (waveformer), whose work is based on mathematical expressions (formulas).
Signal Analyzer
Signal Analyzer – an oscilloscope and a spectral analyzer in one bottle. Works in real time, simple and easy to use.
Track Meter
Track Meter – a plug-in that displays the level of the incoming stereo signal (separately for the left and right channels), as well as the mid / side level of the signal and not only.
Channel Matrix 2×2
Mid / Side encoding / decoding, mixing stereo in mono, switching channels left and right to amplify or attenuate signals, inverting the polarity of the signal, etc
Pitch Shifter
Pitch Shifter is a plugin for changing the pitch of the tone setting of the incoming audio signal.
MIDI Monitor
MIDI Monitor is a plug-in that shows you all incoming MIDI messages.
EchoLab
EchoLab is a plug-in for creating a wide variety of echo and delay effects. It provides an arbitrary number of delay lines, each of which can have feedback, can be placed independently in a stereo panarama and can be switched to ping-pong mode.
Given that the architecture of EchoLab takes into account the ultimate flexibility in tuning rhythmic, filtered echo patterns that form an essential component in many styles of electronic music.
