Description : Welcome to SOLO by TAQSIM! This new virtual instrument authentically recreates the sounds of contemporary world music. SOLO is designed for ease of use: from quickly playing presets and tweaking sounds to complex modulation and experimenting with unique microtonal scales. We’ve collaborated with musicians and producers from around the world to include a library of authentic sounds in SOLO that will help you stand out from the crowd. For even more variety, you can import your own multisamples into SOLO.

Hybrid synthesizer architecture.
SOLO’s hybrid synth engine with three oscillators lets you mix analog oscillators, phase-distortion oscillators, and sample-based oscillators. This provides maximum sonic flexibility for blending synth sounds with our selection of organic waveform samples.
You can then further shape your sound using the built-in Moog or Oberheim filter with -12 dB or -24 dB levels and a volume envelope.

Import Korg KMP, Soundfont and SFZ sounds.
For more options, import your own Korg KMP, Soundfont, and SFZ samples into SOLO. This will open up a world of sonic possibilities for playing your custom samples through our scale converter and synthesizer engine.

Makam microtonal scales.
Break free from the twelve-tone scale by tuning the world’s microtonal scales with the “Oriental-style” scale converter. SOLO comes with a huge library of the most popular scales used in the Middle East and around the world.

Cross-platform support.
SOLO is a cross-platform virtual instrument supported on both PC and Mac in VST, AU, and AAX formats. It’s a one-of-a-kind plug-in that can be used in Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, FL Studio, and more!

Modulation in the matrix.
A flexible modulation matrix allows you to use 2 LFOs and other controllers to control the synthesizer’s parameters.
Change the LFO type, rate, attack speed, depth, and attack depth to modulate the filter, oscillator, effects, and more!

Studio quality effects.
Use the built-in studio-quality EQ, distortion, phaser, delay, and reverb to shape your sound. These effects are designed for aggressive use, as often heard in popular world music—so add distortion and delay and go!
