Studio Special Edition Vol. 1 contains over 50 of the most common instruments and ensembles with a rich range of articulations. The collection features two solo violins and two solo cellos, orchestral strings, solo brass instruments and ensembles, woodwinds from piccolo to contrabassoon, harp, timpani, drums, and percussion, as well as celesta and two grand piano models. The instruments were recorded under the dry and controlled acoustics of the Silent Stage, offering ample opportunity for placement in any acoustic environment, including presets ideally positioned in the main hall of Stage A at Synchron Stage Vienna.
Outstanding Acoustics
Synchron Player features a dedicated convolution reverb based on the Vienna MIR Pro 3D, which accurately captures the unique sound of the 540 m² Synchron Stage Vienna main hall. Individually tuned reverb and placement presets combine individual impulse responses and carefully selected reverb settings for each instrument or ensemble. By adding the Stage A acoustics to the relatively dry samples in real time, the Studio Special Edition instruments pair perfectly with other Synchron Series products, delivering a ready-to-play sound right out of the box. By disabling the built-in reverb, you can freely place instruments and ensembles anywhere in the stereo space and acoustic environment: from dry rooms to stages and concert halls. NKS Integration
Studio Special Edition instruments support the NKS format from Native Instruments and are compatible with Komplete Kontrol and Maschine keyboards. Use the intelligent Light Guide to quickly identify key switches and instrument ranges, browse presets, preview sounds, and quickly adjust them using preset controls.

Installation :
• Synchron Player is required for use
• Soundbank files with the .SYVOLUME extension can be located in any directories, but for ease of use it is recommended to place all soundbanks in one directory with division into subdirectories (Synchron Player supports nesting)
• Soundbanks have keys with the .R2RVSLSYN extension
- Copy the .R2RVSLSYN key files to the %ProgramData%\VSL\Vienna Synchron Player\R2R\ directory .
- Launch VSLEMU CacheBuilder (included with Synchron Player) and click OK in the window that appears .
- If you use a single directory for soundbanks with subdirectories, the soundbanks will immediately appear in the list of available ones when you launch Synchron Player .
If the soundbanks are located in a new directory, click the gear icon at the top of the Synchron Player interface and add this directory by clicking + , then restart the program. The soundbanks will appear in the list of available ones.
