New opportunities :
Cluster is a multi-filter sequencer. The basic concept is seemingly simple—a filter with a modulation envelope—but every parameter is rhythmically sequenced, even the filter type itself. At the core of the sound engine is a set of six filters, selectable from a variety of models, including a multi-mode state variable, a comb filter, a phaser, and a resampler. Furthermore, each of these filters can be configured to chain up to four cascades. Based on this setup, Cluster creates a sequencer matrix with seven parameter bands: three for filters (type, frequency, resonance) and four for a flexible envelope generator with over 50 possible modulation shapes. The sequencer matrix accommodates up to eight patterns simultaneously and is controlled by a flexible step sequencer algorithm with polymetric and polyrhythmic capabilities, as well as an extremely wide range of sync settings. All of this is presented in a single-screen, color-coded user interface with dozens of template-based helper features. This makes Cluster incredibly easy to use and a fun tool for creating virtually any animated filter effect you can imagine… and more.
