Description: Tone Empire EDYN is an emulation of a vintage analog preamplifier inspired by classic American consoles of the 1960s and 1970s. It is designed to give your sound the character, density and warmth inherent in the studio equipment of those years.
Key Features and Capabilities of Tone Empire EDYN:
• Vintage Preamp Modeling: This plug-in recreates the unique sound of discrete solid-state preamps, known for their bright midrange, fast transient response, and deep, authoritative low-end.
It is modeled after the Electrodyne 1204 console, which was said to have been custom-built for Frank Sinatra.
• Saturation: EDYN adds rich harmonics and analog “weight” to your signal, making it more solid and present in the mix. This is achieved using the “Drive” module.
• Clarity and Punch: This plug-in is designed to improve midrange clarity and add dynamic “punch”, making it ideal for vocals, drums, guitars, and any instrument that needs to stand out in the mix.
• Smooth Transient Processing: Provides precision and “snap” without harshness, which is important for drums and other percussive instruments.
• Auto Gain/AG: A handy feature that automatically adjusts the output level as the input level changes, making gain staging easier and allowing you to focus on finding the right amount of saturation.
