Platform : Intel only
Interface language : English

System requirements : MacOSx 10.6+, AU or VST Host (tested osx 10.8.5 + Logic Pro X = OK!)
Description : ReWire/audio/midi-host, allowing to use any AU/VST instruments and plugins both in Standalone and with any ReWire-compatible sequencer. You can play at a concert with your favorite Nexus or Silence, you can use any 32-bit plugins and instruments with full synchronization in LogicProX or another 64-bit host. You can play VST instruments in Logic or AU instruments in Cubase. You can use your Mac at a concert as a separate effect (compressor, reverb, virtual combo) or a whole rack of effects (if you have a multi-channel card).
Β Installation:
– move the entire Plogue Bidule 0.9728 folder to “Programs”;
– move the AU and VST files from the corresponding folders to the standard path: HD/bibls/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components (VST);
– move the license file from the licence file folder to any convenient location on the HD;
– launch Plogue Bidule.app from “Programs”, specify the path to the license file. Done.
How to use: if Logic, DP, Cubase, Ableton or any other ReWire-compatible host is running, Bidule detects it and automatically starts in ReWire mode, creating additional ports in the host (16 midi + 16 audio). If the host is not running, Standalone mode starts, allowing you to run any AU/VST instruments or effects (for example Waves) as separate applications in the Bidule shell.
To synchronize the instrument with the project tempo in the host (arpeggiators, delays), do not forget to set the synchronization type in the top panel of the instrument window: Sync: Bidule ReWire. Well, that’s all. Good luck with your creativity!
