Fluid Woods marks the third collaboration between Audio Imperia and Performance Samples , and it follows the goals of Fluid Woods : fast, short sample generation in an easy-to-use interface.
Like Fluid Brass , Fluid Woods combines the sampling concepts of Performance Samples ‘ Fluid Shorts line with Audio Imperia’s sophisticated approach to consistent, high-level product design. This unique combination provides you with the finest library of short-note brass instruments with smooth, fast playability.
The instrument configuration is traditional: solo flute, solo oboe, solo clarinet, solo bassoon, and solo piccolo flute – recorded tutti in the same room as Fluid Brass . The library features up to 8 dynamics and 6 repetition rates, surpassing even Fluid Brass in terms of expression.

Deeply sampled
Fluid Woods has been sampled in incredible detail, with up to 8 dynamic layers and up to 10 circular repeats. All samples are taken from real performances to enhance the energy of your scores. We also recorded samples at different speeds (six in total), with faster speeds automatically triggered based on the speed of your performance. This extensive sampling covers faster phrases, resulting in smoother, more realistic results, as you are directly triggering samples taken from faster performances.
Recorded in Jihlava
Based on Jasper Blank’s experience with spaces, the studio in Jihlava, known for its lush sound, was ideal for recording this project.
