This collection showcases the powerful capabilities of Vienna Synchron Player and the Vienna Whistler virtual instrument. The entire sample database has been reworked, updated, and optimized for the proprietary sampler to enhance authenticity, ease of use, and flexibility.

Markus Schmidinger, renowned French horn player and author of the VI Series Brass I, Brass II, and Epic Horns collections, is also a virtuoso whistler with an incredibly homogeneous timbre spanning approximately two octaves. It was recorded in our second studio, Silent Stage, a soundstage with a focused, controlled atmosphere, specifically designed and built for recording samples. The compact size of this room allows the artist to be positioned in any virtual acoustic environment.

R2R Synchron Player is required for use.
To use, after installing everything from the R2R package:
Move the *.R2RVSLSYN file (Magic file) to “%PROGRAMDATA%\VSL\Vienna Synchron Player\R2R\”.
Launch VSLEMU CacheBuilder; its shortcut will appear on your desktop after installation.
Then, you can simply use the library. The *.syvolume file is the sample file. You can store it anywhere, just remember to specify the path to the library in Synchron Player. Synchron Player can find libraries in subfolders, meaning if you have several libraries and they are located in a common folder, you only need to specify the path to that folder, not to each individual library.
