Voice Of Rapture: The Soprano by Soundiron is an advanced solo operatic soprano vocal library for Kontakt that features both multi-sampled chromatic content and tempo-synching live performance phrases in a full range of keys.

Recorded with vocal artist Nichole Dechaine in a dry studio environment, this library offers True Legato vowel sustains for Ah and Oo vowels, with infinite sustain, natural release, 3-voice polyphonic support and plenty of fine-tuning parameters. It also covers standard dynamic Ah, Eh, Mm and Oh pure vowel sustains, with or without vibrato in piano or forte. There are also nearly two-dozen malleable staccato syllables and sustaining chromatic chants, each with synchronized legato, EZ syllable/word switching. All of this chromatic content spans a playable key range of over 2 octaves. There is also a collection of various vocal effects, such as whispers, laughing, coughing, breathing, sweeps, falls and swells.

For the live phrase sections, Nichole performs improvised melodic pure vowel phrases at 100 BPM, with collections rooted in the keys of A, B, C, D, E, F and G (with both major and minor variants). There are also collections of phrases from the traditional Angelic Salutation (The Hail Marry), sung in Latin, as well as sections based on a classic French poem from the mid 1800s by Rene-Francois Sully-Prudhomme, also spanning a full set of root keys. There is also an eclectic collection of cheerful and haunting whistling phrases.

There is also a large set of bonus ambiences, drones, atmospheres, vocoded effects and leads based on the raw source material that has been contorted with the help of special effects and custom sound design techniques.

The custom user interface adds adaptive phrase step sequencing options and the ability to reshape samples in real-time with attack, start and end offset, dynamic and release shaping, legato blending and more. It also features a comprehensive FX Rack panel, with chorus, delay, distortion, compression, EQ, amp/speaker simulation and convolution reverb. The reverb effect includes 70 different rooms, halls, cathedrals and otherworldly fx impulses easily available right through the interface.

This library requires the full retail version of Kontakt version 4.2.4 or later. Kontakt 5.1 or later required for some advanced features. This is a standard open format library, so all wav samples are accessible and editable. This product is not supported by the free Kontakt Player or special Libraries rack area.
