The list of musicians includes some of the best artists of the past and present: Stevie Ray Vaughan, David Gilmour, Chuck Berry, Jack White, Johnny Greenwood, Thom Yorke, Gary Clark Jr., Lenny Cravitz, Nuno Bettencourt, and many others. It’s nearly impossible to list everyone who hasn’t used it.
The TWN stands out from the rest of the Black Panel line. Despite the classic Black Panel “dip” sound on the vibrato channel (a “Hulk” version of what other amps in this line do), it has amazing power reserves, density, directness, and a very unique feel that can be described as powerful and fast.
If you want ABSOLUTELY clean sound, this is the PERFECT amp. It can sound great without the slightest hint of distortion, which, frankly, not all amps can do.
It’s also known for its excellent compatibility with effects pedals and the ability to crank it up to the max for a satisfying crunch. This is probably the cleanest amp we’ve tried so far. It’s simply incredible power and punch.
The normal channel sounds completely different from the vibrato channelβit’s significantly more balanced and warm, almost reminiscent of the clean sound of DMBL or TRCK amps. Connect pedals, including your favorite fuzz, and get ready for a thrilling journey, as this amp, along with the HWTT CUT100, is arguably the best pedal platform on the market.
