If an Akai ISO looks “corrupted”, it usually just means the system can’t read the sampler format.
You can open it with CDXtract instead, it reads Akai disk images directly.
On Mac:
• Run CDXtract (abandonware, site is dead) via CrossOver (paid) or Wine (free)
• Open the ISO inside CDXtract (don’t mount it)
• Browse partitions -> export samples
• Then use the WAVs in any sampler
For Windows you can directly use CDXtract.
Nothing is actually corrupted, you just need the right tool. You can’t use a saw as a hammer.
