    Upright bass was my father’s tool of his trade…….. for decades he was the de facto bassist to call in the Baltimore/Washington, D.C./Annapolis jazz scene, playing with phenomenal jazz musicians, many of whom taught me analytical listening and theory.
    thanks for this, there’s plenty about upright bass that sets it apart from other basses.
