Completing the trio of vintage electric pianos, the Wurli captures the inimitable charm of the classic Wurlitzer electric piano. Recorded from an original model at Nave Studios, it delivers everything from soft, gentle tones to the signature growl that has defined countless soul, pop, and rock records.
With its custom-designed ambience layer created from evolving pads and subtle textures, Wurli transcends traditional electric piano sounds. From expressive vintage warmth to captivating cinematic soundscapes, it’s a versatile instrument that combines timelessness with modern creativity.
Interface
• Stereo Spacing – Increasing stereo spacing will shift lower notes to the left and higher notes to the right.
• Chorus – Adjusts the intensity of the built-in chorus effect.
• Ambience – Adds an ethereal layer of ambience to expand the library’s sonic possibilities.
• Reverb – Adjusts the overall volume of the built-in reverb. Click the settings icon for additional controls.
• Signal – Switch between the DI signal and the boosted signal for a cleaner or sharper sound.
• Mechanical Sound – Adjusts the volume of the acoustic key noise and muffler picked up by the microphones. • Settings Icon – Click the icon to the left of the interface to open additional settings.
• Sample Start – Increase the sample start time to reduce latency. Reduce the sample start time for greater realism. The latency specified above is the correct value for using negative delay (pre-delay) in your DAW’s MIDI settings.
• Velocity Response – Increase velocity response to emphasize the volume difference between soft and hard touches. Reduce the slider to increase the volume of soft dynamics.
