Blueprint: Dream Zither is a small, harp-like instrument, recorded in stereo and spanning a four-octave range. Along with the instrument’s natural sound, it features an additional ambience layer and a suite of controls for detailed sound customization, including our innovation, first introduced in Compendium: Eldenvale—a glissando controller.
The Glissando Controller lets you create smooth, expressive glissandos that make the instrument even more intuitive and inspiring. Simply hold the notes you want to copy, then use the MIDI slider or controller to adjust the speed and direction of the glissando. This feature lets you appreciate the folk-style instruments featured in Compendium: Eldenvale and bring the same organic expressiveness to Blueprint: Dream Zither.
Features :
• Color – an EQ effect for changing the brightness of the overall sound.
• Stereo Width – adjusts the stereo widening effect: turn clockwise for a wider signal, turn fully counterclockwise for a monophonic signal.
• Damping – attenuates the playing sample.
• Reverb – adjust the reverb level using the additional settings by clicking the gear icon.
• Atmosphere – adjust the level of the ambience layer and press [S] to solo it.
• Settings – Click the gear icon for additional sample start and dynamic range settings.
• Glissando Controller – The glissando controller is activated by pressing the [] button. The Double Octave function doubles held notes an octave higher, and Dynamics Mode selects how the dynamics of held notes are controlled. The number selected for Mapped MIDI CC is the CC value that controls the Gliss effect (default: CC11).
