Slate Digital Submerge is an automatic sidechain compressor plugin designed to create dynamic ducking and pumping effects popular in electronic music, hip-hop, and other genres.
It simplifies the sidechain setup process without requiring complex routing in a DAW.
Key features:
• Three trigger modes: automatic (syncs to the project tempo), MIDI, or audio (responses to an external signal, such as a kick drum).
• Eight built-in effects, from high- and low-pass filters to sample rate reduction, allow you to create unique textures and rhythmic movements.
• Three processing curve types: “Natural” for a subtle effect, “Extreme” for a powerful pump, and “Special” for creative experimentation.
• Curve inversion: Hold down the Shift key to turn the ducking effect into a “push” (boosting instead of attenuating).
• Mid/Side support: Allows separate processing of the center and side channels for more accurate stereo imaging.
• Intuitive controls: Threshold (threshold), Speed (curve speed), Morph (attack/decay time control), Depth (effect depth), and Tweak (effect fine-tuning).
