Slate Digital Murda Melodies is a multi-functional audio processing plugin created in collaboration with renowned hip-hop producer Murda Beatz, who has worked with artists such as Drake, Travis Scott, and Migos.
The plugin is designed for creating unique, expressive melodies and textures, especially in the hip-hop, trap, and R&B genres.
Murda Melodies is built around eight interactive effects, including modulation, reverb, synchronized delays, reverse, saturation, and more.
Each effect is controlled by a separate knob, and their interaction allows you to create complex, unusual soundscapes—from subtle changes to radical transformations.
A key feature is the pitch shifter with a 4-octave range, which supports a lo-fi mode for adding warm, vintage textures, as well as a Pitch Jitter function for nonlinear artifacts.
The plugin also includes analog-modeled filters (low- and high-pass), a mono-compatible stereo widener, and a vinyl “wobble” effect for added character. Over 50 presets created by Murda Beatz and the Slate Digital team help you quickly achieve professional sounds—from bright leads to atmospheric pads and deep bass.
