I recorded it with different microphones and from different distances, and since then I have used it in most of my music. The tick-tock sound is not only a symbol of movement, rhythm and time. It also occupies its own narrow frequency range, without interfering with other sounds. Therefore, it is ideal as a kind of subconscious metronome, since it helps to emphasize and strengthen the rhythm. 10 years have passed… and now we are releasing this collection of over 780 tick-tock sounds, including the very same Ikea timer samples that started it all, as well as many new sound sources.”

Clock Method
Each sound was recorded with multiple circular repeats, distributed across the keyboard for complete control over the sound. To expand the possibilities of ticking effects, we have added our proven Chaos FX function with step filters, a three-band EQ, a degrader, a stereo delay and more.
