Description: Heroes is a soundset with 128 presets for Repro 1 + 5 (64 presets for each), inspired by the work of David Bowie. The presets are not recreations of Bowie’s works, but his thinking, his boundless creativity, inspired us to create this sound set (his work from his Berlin period and later albums such as 1. Outside and his latest album Blackstar). This has resulted in a sound filled with dark, raw, evolving analogue and experimental sounds.
However, there is plenty of room for more subtle and ambient sounds. This makes the bank ideal for any modern music production, for use in film and game soundtracks, as well as experimental and ambient music.
Presets for Repro 1 are divided into arps, basses, effects, leads, pads, sequences and synths. Presets for Repro 5 are divided into atmospheres, basses, effects, keyboards, leads, pads, percussion, rhythms and synths. All patches have modulation control via the modulation wheel and/or aftertouch. Heroes is now also fully compatible with NKS, for which preview files are provided.
