Description : Wagane Faye, the famous keyboardist of many Dakar mbalax and Afrobeat bands, has joined us at Laboutique Studios Dakar to record a lot of MIDI in mbalax, Afrobeat, dancehall, Afroswing and Afropop styles. We then cut these MIDI performances into loops and made the appropriate Serum presets for each. These presets are focused on the sounds of West Africa. You’ll find full flutes, ngoni, kora, marimba, balafon, kalimba, percussion, as well as synths, organs, and bass sounds.
