Description: Create authentic guitar sounds (DI) with the WEDGE FORCE Matcha DI guitar synthesizer and your favorite guitar amp plugins!
Matcha is a unique and innovative musical instrument that allows keyboardists and MIDI players to create powerful rock guitar tones that sound as realistic as anything you’ve ever heard. In fact, it’s so realistic that we recommend that you double the number of MIDI guitar parts, as if you were recording real guitar riffs!
Matcha is more than just a stunningly authentic sounding guitar synthesizer with powerful built-in sound shaping options. It is a professional musical instrument that can be used with your favorite guitar amps. It replaces the guitar in the recording setup, but not the amps and effects! Pair Matcha with ANY of your favorite pedals, amps, cabinets, and effects for stunning sounds from your MIDI keyboard.
Having this potential of massive sounds at your fingertips opens up new horizons for keyboardists and composers to enter the world of guitar sounds and effects. And guitarists will love to experiment by combining real guitars and generated MIDI riffs and phrases.
While Matcha can be programmed to sound absolutely amazing with MIDI, WEDGE FORCE’s main goal with this instrument was to create a software synthesizer that allows keyboardists to get the best sounding guitar parts by capturing the nuances of live performance in the studio or on stage.
Matcha’s under-the-hood modeling is at a different level from the norms you’ll find in other software tools. The WEDGE FORCE engineers quickly realized that samples can never sound completely realistic, because harmonic resonances can sound differently for each note combination.
This prompted the WEDGE FORCE team to create their patented “Synthetic Force Engine”, which combines studio pre-sampled waveforms of the most iconic bespoke guitars with real-time synthesized sounds.
