Warm Saturation
The familiar distortion of a revered British console circuit, fundamentally redesigned to smooth out harsh, angular resonances. The result: weighty lows, distinct steely highs, and low-mids that remain tight right up until they transition into that familiar, dense sound. The overall effect is a sense of sonic déjà vu: a direct, rich, and unmistakably recognizable rock ‘n’ roll sound—minus the metallic ringing that used to spoil the experience.
As intensity increases, Model N reorganizes the low frequencies, positioning the fundamental frequency just below the second harmonic. This yields a warm, solid bass that sounds louder yet occupies less space in the mix. At higher drive levels, it reproduces the characteristic sound found in a certain percentage of snare drums recorded in the early and mid-1970s.

PHASE
Inverts the phase of the plugin’s output signal.
-20dB Pad
Activating the -20dB pad attenuates the input signal by 20dB and boosts the output by 20dB, giving Omega an extra 20dB of headroom. This allows for a wider range of subtle effects before heavier distortion sets in, particularly with high-level input signals.

HI-PASS
Adjusts the high-pass filter cutoff frequency from 20Hz to 5kHz.
LO-PASS
Adjusts the low-pass filter cutoff frequency from 40Hz to 22kHz.
XY CONTROL POINTS
Simultaneously control both filters. Horizontal movement (X-axis) adjusts the low-pass filter cutoff frequency. Vertical movement (Y-axis) adjusts the high-pass filter cutoff frequency. MAKEUP / BLEND
BLEND
Mixes the unprocessed input signal with the processed signal.
MAKEUP
Increases or decreases the gain of the signal after distortion, prior to mixing.
XY CONTROL
Allows simultaneous control of Blend and Makeup, as if adjusting an analog mechanism with both hands. Horizontal movement adjusts the post-distortion Blend, while vertical movement adjusts the Makeup gain.
