Description:
Bliss is a sampler that natively supports Akai, SFZ, SoundFont, Kontakt, EXS, Renoise, Nord, and ReCycle formats, with extended support provided via integration with ConvertWithMoss. It can sample VST and AU plugins into SFZ format losslessly, while the standalone version allows for sampling external hardware and any audio source using automatic MIDI-based sampling. Features include up to 64 voices, SINC 128 interpolation, a scalable GUI, a built-in waveform editor, seven effects with 8x oversampling, macro presets, and full MIDI control. SFZ import/export covers ampeg_attack/decay/sustain/release parameters with correct placement in the global section. Multi-file auto-mapping for drums and pitch zones.
Export: ZBP programs and ZBB banks (lossless 24-bit FLAC), SFZ with extended opcodes in 16- or 24-bit format, Akai MPC Keygroup, Alesis SamplePad, ReCycle REX (RX2) using sample start/end points as sample boundaries, Nord Sample Library (NSMP, NSMP3, NSMP4) with resampling to Nord rates and embedded loops/crossfades, MIDI files derived from samples, and 16/24-bit WAV preserving loop points.
All other formats are handled via ConvertWithMoss: DLS, MPC, Korg, Kurzweil, EMU, Yamaha, and others are converted and loaded as a bank. Install this tool from the main menu; if you open a format Bliss cannot read directly, you will be prompted to load it.
