Hey, to everyone that had their computer stop booting after starting to install this, there is a fix and/or workaround. The problem is that the old Pace ilok driver is not compatible with Windows 10 (or 11). There is a single file put into the C:\Windows\System32\drivers folder, called TPkd.sys that brakes everything.

If you’re stuck not being able to boot after starting to install, deleting that file will make Windows boot normally again. You can boot into safe mode to achieve this, as well as a number of other methods to access the file. Google is your friend.

Otherwise, when first installing this, when it says you must install the Pace license manager thing, say yes, then right after, when Windows asks if you trust the device being installed, click NO. Pro Tools will install fine after this and Windows will reboot as normal. Alternatively, you can say YES you trust it, then just delete that one file before rebooting.

This software works fine once this problem is out of the way.
