Omnisphere Virtaus is a collection of 120 cinematic patches for the Omnisphere 2.6 synthesizer by Spectrasonics. The pack includes 149 exclusive sound sources based on real instrument recordings, meticulously crafted to make them fresh and engaging. It uses only these new sound sources and does not rework the standard ones found in Omnisphere or any other pack.
Omnisphere Virtaus is designed to shine in thriller, drama, action, and horror soundtracks. The influences for this soundset are very eclectic, ranging from Kaae & Batz (“Bordertown”) to Tyler Bates (“John Wick”) and Mark Korven (“The Lighthouse”).
