Knorr is a plugin that adds intensity and punch to a monophonic low-frequency sound source (such as bass). The algorithm adds overtones to the existing sound in a way that is impossible to achieve with conventional distortion or filtering.
Knorr Algorithm
The basic algorithm uses a combination of filtering, amplitude modulation, and frequency modulation to process incoming audio. Knorr is designed with low frequencies in mind, but can be used with any monophonic sound source as long as it contains audio content in the low-midrange (and lower) range.
