Description :
CGII consists of two unique complementary sections for improved dynamics, a new stage of true peak limiting, DC locking and disassembly with LUFS true peak measurement using bright tube meters. All of them work with 16x oversampling (or without it – depending on your preference).
World-class signal processing and workflow
User-selectable oversampling (up to 16x)
The density upsampling process effectively increases the perceived level of a program, revealing previously hidden detail without compromising higher-level dynamics.
The Loudness Boost process provides a transparent increase in RMS level while keeping peak levels below the maximum value
The True Peak Limiter transparently controls the output levels, ensuring that the True Peak level never exceeds the set limit
The DC Blocking Filter removes any residual DC offset
The Dither allows the output to be dithered to 16-24 bits
Nixie Tubes provide a dB display of any of the user-selectable values ββ(Integrated LUFS, Short-Term LUFS (or Hold), Momentary LUFS (or Hold), True Peak or TP Hold)
Numerous presets included
Adjustable UI size
MH Preset Manager – provides cross-platform presets The design prioritizes musical integrity and ease of use, as well as the ability to add effective loudness, richness and clarity without reducing spatial depth and emotional impact as traditional audio processors often do.
Use CGII to make your mastered tracks louder without losing the clarity, density, and richness of the original mix. Even if you’re working with an already loud mix, you can make it louder without adding unpleasant distortion, equalizing the material, or squeezing the life out of the low frequencies. At the same time, you can control the True Peak level in the program to avoid interpolation.
We’ve also added dithering, a DC block filter, and full LUFS/True Peak metering so you can use CGII at the end of your main chain as a one-stop finishing tool.
While the CGII’s original purpose was to make sound good and loud at the same time, you’ll find that it’s great for a variety of mixing and processing stages.
Use the Loudness processor to boost harmonics. Use the Density processor to boost coloration and clarity at low levels without sacrificing transients. Or simply set incredibly transparent true-peak limiting wherever you need it.
