Description: Welcome to CASE – the most comprehensive collection of orchestral solo effects ever created. CASE comes in three dedicated libraries of strings, brass and woodwinds based on the same concept.

CASE Strings contains violin, viola, cello and bass solos. Each instrument was recorded by two players, so you have the option to either play both players together or separate them with the Soloist Spot mics. CASE comes with 6 microphone positions divided into two main groups: Hall (Close, Far, Wide and Mixed) and Soloist 1 (Spot 1) and Soloist 2 (Spot 2).

CASE Strings Edition contains an unparalleled high quality list of articulations (.wav format / 24bit / 96kHz). We wanted to create something final and unsurpassed. With over 14,000 effect samples in the String Edition alone, it’s almost impossible to find an effect that the library doesn’t cover.

Incredible depth of articulation is supported by our new two-layer effects system. The first of these is our front FX system which gives you control over trans gate, filters, pitch, delay, compression and our new texture convolutional delay. We’ve also included our new Chaos FX engine, which gives you control over things like EQ, phasing, distortion, stereo delay, and an additional convolutional reverb.

Endless options: CASE contains over 14,000 effect samples that can be combined in endless ways. Whether you want to control individual players, or randomize over 1500 parameters with a single click, or blend effects together with our new Textural Convolution Delay, or use the Stack feature to blend as many effects as possible. The meaning is the same. You have an endless number of options and intuitive controls.

Superior Microphones: CASE contains 6 different microphones, divided into 4 Hall Mics (Close, Mid, Room, Mixed) and 2 Soliist Mics (Spot 1, Spot 2). The flexibility of their positions allows you to get the sound you want. All CASE sections contain 2 players that can be played together (via Hall Mics) or individually (Via Soloist/Spot Mics). On top of that, CASE also comes with a lot of convolutional presets so you can add otherworldly overtones to your sound.

Texture Convolution Delay: A new way to use convolution to create texture delays. The idea is to use non-traditional convolution pulses to augment an existing sound. So when such a delay is applied to the tool, you will not only get the usual delay effect, but you will also get a convolutional texture to the delay. This concept is called Textural Convolution.

Direct Access and Stack Function: CASE Solo Strings comes with 26 basic presets that contain over 96 articulations. Everything is neatly built into our custom browser, which contains multiple articulations at the same time. This means you have immediate access to a large and varied pool of effects. We’ve also added our unique Stack feature, which allows you to stack as many articulations as you want. This is a powerful feature for those who want to create more unique effects by mixing them together.

CASE Chaos Engine: This engine is arguably the most extreme feature in CASE. We wanted to take the concept of Chance / Randomization and bring it into our code and user interface. The CASE Chaos Engine allows you to randomize over 1,500 parameters with a single click, as well as randomize our new 8Dio FX (3.0) system. In this way, the contents of the sample and the assigned effect will be randomized in one great cocktail. The great thing about CASE Chaos Engine is that you can control exactly how much chaos you want – from a small cosmetic change to the birth of a whole new universe of sounds – all with one click.

Hyper-flexible user interface: CASE contains two parallel FX systems. The first of these is our new Front-Faced FX, which allows you to control fundamental effects on the front panel (like Dynamics, Filters, Pitch, Delay, Crusher and our new Textural Delay). You can also delve into our new Chaos FX system, which includes Step-Based Filtering, EQ, Bit-Crusher, Distortion, Dual Stereo-Delay and an additional Textural Convolution Delays system.
