Description: Welcome to CASE – the most complete collection of solo orchestral effects ever created. CASE Brass contains 2 solo trumpets, 2 solo horns, 2 solo trombones (tenor and bass). Each instrument was recorded by two musicians, so you have the option of playing both musicians together or separately using the Soloist Spot microphones. CASE has 6 microphone positions divided into two main groups: Hall (Close, Far, Wide and Mixed) and Soloist 1 (Spot 1) and Soloist 2 (Spot 2).
The CASE (Custom Aleatoric Solo Effects) series was created by Troels Vollmann, an Academy Award-winning composer, TEC and G.A.N.G. CASE comes in three specialized libraries for strings, brass and woodwinds, based on the same concept.
CASE Brass Edition contains an unrivaled roster of articulations and comes in high resolution waveform (.wav/24bit/96kHz). We wanted to create something final and unsurpassed. The Brass Edition alone contains over 6,800 FX samples, and it’s almost impossible to find an effect that isn’t covered.
Incredible depth of articulation is supported by our new two-level effects system. The first of these is our front panel FX system, which gives you control over gate, filters, pitch, delay, compression and our new convolution texture delay. The new texture convolution allows you to take dozens of new convolutions and use them as delay components. We’ve also included our new Chaos FX engine, which gives you control over things like EQ, phasing, distortion, stereo delay, and additional reverb convolution.
But most importantly, CASE is the most complete collection of orchestral effects ever created. Let’s take something simple – “brass riser”. It doesn’t matter anymore if you want a rising brass sound. The question is whether you want it in a regular legato glissando, or perhaps with a tremolo movement towards it – maybe you need more thrill-based glissando, or maybe you just want a terrifying variation of grinded brass.
CASE has it all and is the definitive collection of Solo Orchestral FX.

More :
Endless Choice
CASE contains over 5,778 FX samples that can be combined in an endless number of ways. Is it possible to manage individual players or randomize over 1500 options with a single click. Whether it’s blending effects together with our new texture convolution delay, or using the stack feature to blend as many effects as you want. The premise is the same. You have an endless number of options and intuitive controls to do things your way.
Excellent microphones and mixing
CASE contains 6 different microphones, which are divided into 4 hall microphones (near, middle, room, mixed) and 2 soloist microphones (Spot 1, Spot 2). The flexibility of the microphone position allows you to achieve the perfect sound of your choice. All CAGE sections contain 2 players who can be played together (via the floor mics) or individually (via soloists/spot mics). In addition, CASE also has many convolution presets so you can add otherworldly flavors to your sound.
Texture Convolution Delay
Textural Convolution Delay is a new way to use convolution to create texture delays. The idea is to use unconventional convolution pulses to amplify existing audio. This way when the tool is delayed – not only will you get the normal delay of the tool, but you will also get the delay and texture of the convolution. This concept is called texture convolutions.
Instant access and stack function
CASE Solo Brass contains 26 master presets that contain over 96 articulations. Everything is neatly built into our highly customizable browser that supports multiple articulations at the same time. This means you have immediate access to a large and varied pool of effects. We’ve also added our unique Stack feature, which lets you stack as many articulations as you want for larger effects. This is a powerful feature for anyone who wants to create unique effects by mixing things together.
CASE Chaos Engine
CASE Chaos Engine is perhaps the most extreme feature in CASE. We wanted to take the concept of aleatoric (random/random) music and bring it into our code and user interface. The CASE Chaos Engine allows you to randomize over 1500 sample parameters with a single click, as well as randomize our new 8Dio FX (3.0) system. This way both the sample content and the assigned FX will be randomized into one great cocktail. The great thing about CASE Chaos Engine is that you can You have precise control over how much chaos you want – from a small cosmetic change to the birth of a whole new universe of sounds – all with one click.
Hyper-flexible user interface
CASE contains two parallel FX systems. The first is our new Front-Faced FX, which allows you to control the most fundamental effects from the front panel (like Dynamics, Filters, Pitch, Delay, Crusher and our new Textural Delay). You can also go deeper with our new Chaos FX system, which includes step filtering, EQ, bit crushing, distortion, dual stereo delay and an additional convolution system on top of our configurable texture convolution delays.
