Repro-5 is an excellent emulation of the well-known Prophet-5 synthesizer. Known for its analogue sound and incredible versatility, this synthesizer has been heard on countless hit recordings.
This sound pack focuses on cinematic and ambient/atmospheric analogue sounds. Best suited for accompanying/experimental/ambient music. Meridian offers a unique blend of familiar sounds taken into unexpected sonic territory. Good use is made of Repro-5’s internal effects to add dimension, width and character.
Meridian features lush, distant ambience, analog sub-bass, synchronized textures and pads, effects, low-frequency percussion, atmospheric pads, lively polyphonic analog synths and leads.
These sounds are borrowed from a variety of influential composers and artists such as Ryuichi Sakamoto, Max Richter, Clint Mansell, Cliff Martinez, John Hopkins, Ben Salisbury & Geoff Barrow and Benjamin Wallfisch. Many patches offer added adaptability programmed into the modulation wheel.
