The Pro-One is one of the most iconic monophonic synthesizers in history. Designed by Dave Smith in 1981, the synthesizer defined the sound of an entire era with its aggressive oscillators, screaming filter, and intuitive modulation matrix.
The-One, based on the original schematic and manual, models every stage of the signal flow, with all its imperfections—they are what give the Pro-One its character. This is not a reproduction, but an exploration of sound.

Oscillator Features
Two CEM 3340 oscillators with sawtooth, pulse, and triangle waveforms. Adjustable pulse width, tight sync, and a dedicated low-frequency generator give you the full palette of Pro-One tones—from powerful bass to screaming leads and evolving textures.
Sound-Defining Filter
The CEM 3320 4-pole low-pass filter is the heart of the Pro-One. Our OTA-based model reproduces its unique richness, screaming self-oscillation, and musical keyboard tracking, allowing you to play the filter in chromatic mode.
Deep Modulation, Instant Results
Three sources, five destinations, two independent buses. The modulation matrix accurately reproduces all signal paths while maintaining gain accuracy. Add tube and tape saturation for added warmth and grit.

Treatment:
0. Uninstall The-One if it’s already installed.
1. Install The-One using the included installer.
2. Open the keygen, enter any name or email address (email is optional), and click “Generate.”
3. Download the plugin, and it should activate.
Troubleshooting:
1. The standalone The-One or The-One in VST3 format doesn’t open or returns an error.

2. The license doesn’t work or asks for input.
