Supercharger GT This is a compressor inspired by the rich tube sound of boutique hardware. A feature-rich follow-up to the Supercharger compressor released in December 2013, the Supercharger GT goes beyond modern tube compression by adding dedicated Saturation and Character modes, as well as additional controls for complete audio fine-tuning.
The Supercharger GT was designed for simple yet comprehensive sound shaping. Producers can quickly set up a wide range of compression effects with a single “Compress” knob. Automatic effect gain allows them to stay focused on the effect sound without having to compensate for the drop in volume that compression can sometimes cause. The Attack and Release presets provide a starting point for customizing the Supercharger GT’s response to incoming signals—producers can start with Punch, Gentle, and Slam modes. Dedicated Attack and Release controls provide an additional degree of fine-tuning.
Transient Master Inspired by today’s popular studio processor, it provides a unique and powerful method for processing drums and percussion instrument sounds by shaping the signal’s envelope. Using the “Attack” and “Sustain” parameters, Transient Master can add natural punch and clarity, or push individual instruments further into the mix, without any of the sonic artifacts associated with conventional compression techniques.
Vintage Compressors NATIVE INSTRUMENTS and Softube present VINTAGE COMPRESSORS, painstakingly accurate emulations of three of the most commonly used compressors in studio history.
