Description:
PAM is an eight-segment creative sampler.
Create patterns, stretch and manipulate samples, and route modulation between cells using LFOs, envelopes, macros, and parameter sequencers.
Cell Grid: Eight independent cells with samplers, effects, and modulation. Routing modulation between cells creates complex signal flows. Cell Views: Four views for each cell: sampler control, sample browser, pattern editor, and effects chain. Instantly switch between them.
CtrlAll: Global macro controls and A/B crossfader. Link parameters across all cells with per-cell exceptions.
Slicer: Slice samples into segments with automatic transient detection. Sequence slices using dedicated slice patterns.
Pattern: Step sequencer with note, pitch, slice, and stretch tracks—plus a piano keyboard for polyphonic mode. Draw and resize notes across the entire pitch range with a scale filter and velocity track.
Tracker: Tracker-style pattern display for all cells. Program notes, velocity, probability, and retriggering on the vertical timeline. Mixer: Mix all eight cells with volume, pan, mute, and solo controls. Effect chain for each cell with EQ, filter, delay, compressor, and other functions.
Looper: Record up to eight tracks with overdubbing, external input, and drag-and-drop. Store eight variations with synchronized switching.
Variation: Randomize parameters with adjustable range and probability. Add a controlled variation to any knob.
LFO Modulation: Six global LFOs with multiple shapes and tempo sync. Assign to any parameter with depth and bipolar control.
Envelope: Envelopes for each parameter with adjustable attack and release. Sidechain from any cell output.
Randomize: Generate random signals and settings for specific PAM parts—randomize all LFOs simultaneously, all envelopes, all sequencers, and more.
Changes in 1.5.2:
v1.5.2 (22 June 2026)
Added
Retrigger adds a Hold mode alongside Step, on the sampler and Drum Synth.
Global Tuning adds Quantize Notes to Scale, snapping pattern notes to the scale on playback.
Video layers and effect chains now have mute toggles, bindable to MIDI.
The Compressor now shows input level metering.
Improved
EQ band frequency knobs now sweep more smoothly across their range.
Trial users now get a clear Buy button – in the bar across the top of the plugin and in Settings → Account – to upgrade to the full version.
Fixed
Dragging in a REX file now reports it is unsupported instead of failing silently.
Effect panels could overflow or misalign at wide window sizes.
Duplicating a video media layer could break the original layer’s image or video.
A Video parameter drag could snap back to its previous value on the first release.
Dropdown text was unreadable in the Video layer editors.
With a microtonal tuning loaded, transposing a sound with the pitch knob, the PITCH lane, or the drum synth’s Pitch now stays in tune for the note you land on, instead of drifting off the scale.
Theme updates: light and custom themes now apply across the sequencer, piano roll, patch cables, EQ, and Song Mode.
Installation:
- You must have the latest version of TEAM R2R System installed
- After installation, register using WM_MAPAudio.r2rwm
- Get the Factory Content from this distribution
Note:
If you previously installed and registered a previous version of R2R, simply install it over it. Registration is not required.
