The Metallurgy™ collection of amps and effects plug-ins was created specifically for guitarists who want to quickly and easily access modern versions of classic and modern metal sounds, as well as create their own original sounds. The collection includes Modern, Thrash and Doom plugins, which are also available individually.
The three Metallurgy Collection plug-ins feature amp and effects models drawn from the award-winning HX® family of products, delivering outstanding sound quality and dynamic responsiveness. Each of the plugins has four amp types that can be connected to any of the eight speaker cabinets. Two microphones can be selected from a virtual “mic box” containing eight microphone types, and can be combined with an array of microphones in a stereo room. Up to two-way impulse responses (IR) can be replaced with factory microphones. All microphones can be positioned differently, and the 4-band parametric EQ allows you to further hone your cabinet sound. There are also four pre-amp effects and three post-amp effects, including polyphonic pitch shifter, as well as a noise gate and chromatic tuner.
