Description:
Phantomic splits your sound into four bands and applies four distinctive stages to each: Drive, Punch, Stereo, and the signature Diffuse—our proprietary technology that makes the band feel more spacious, diffused, and fluid as it is processed.
It is neither an equalizer nor a compressor; instead, it alters the texture of each spectral region. While best suited for bass and lead guitars, it can be used on any sound source.
Overview
This is the secret ingredient behind the hottest samples in dance music. Multiband saturation, stereo width, and phase dispersion make basslines, leads, drums, vocals, and everything else sound denser, richer, and more alive. The kind of textural processing used by top producers is now accessible via just four controls, rather than a chain of ten plugins.
DIFFUSE: A control unlike any other.
Engage it, and the frequency band opens up. It starts out round and analog-sounding, then turns fluid and blurred—shifting out of focus—creating a sense of movement you can feel but can’t quite pinpoint. Powered by our custom-built engine: up to 56th-order phase rotation per band. No EQ, chorus, or distortion effect can replicate this.
Four shapers per band.
Each band has its own set. In Basic mode, a single macro controls all four bands simultaneously. In Expert mode, you can fine-tune each band individually.
Start with the macro. Then get surgical.
Begin in Basic mode and dial in your sound in seconds using a single set of controls for all four bands. If a specific band needs individual attention, switch to Expert mode to reveal the full mechanism. It’s the same plugin and the same sound, but with exactly the level of control your track demands.
100 presets. Nine categories.
Organized by source material, with distinct settings tailored to each band.
Changelog:
v1.1.1
September 21, 2026
Cubase no longer hangs during loading. Previously, Cubase could get stuck in a stop-and-restart loop when adding Phantomic or changing audio settings. The plugin now reports a latency change only when the latency has actually changed; consequently, the host application rebuilds its graph once and continues operation. This benefits other host applications as well, reducing unnecessary latency compensation recalculations when the buffer size changes.
v1.1.0

A brand-new look. We have completely redesigned the Phantomic interface—from the faceplate and controls to the typography, meters, and multiband display.
Meet your new monster. A new animated 3D monster takes center stage on the visual display, reacting to sound and settings through movement, changing facial expressions, and electrical effects.
v1.0.5
September 13, 2026
PUNCH now leaves a mark on the floor. In basic mode, every transient PUNCH hit sends out a purple shockwave that ripples across the floor beneath the phantom. The wave intensifies as the knob is turned and vanishes completely when PUNCH is in subtractive mode. The hat continues to transform as the knob is turned, just as before.
