Description: Keyboard In Blue is a real electromechanical piano, created from scratch. Recorded at Hollywood Scoring Studios through a vintage tube amp, it transmits the well-known β€œthat same” classic sound in a new way. This is a great keyboard, enlarged to a large space – it is real and lively!
Keyboard In Blue is a true electromechanical piano built from the ground up. Its programmatic embodiment perfects the sound of your favorite vintage instruments with the best implementation of sustain and high-register tones, as well as a more powerful and full bass sound.
We intended to present the electromechanical keyboard very organically and acoustically. Thus, instead of recording directly from the output, a very popular method, we sent it directly to a vintage guitar preamp. The room at Hollywood Scoring Studios provided a well-balanced space to convey this very vibrant, acoustic tone. Keyboard In Blue offers 5 separate mixes: 2 close microphones on the amplifier – tape and FET, perspective in the middle room and perspective in the full room. Finally, there is a FULL combination that includes the best ratio of the above.
The In Blue keyboard definitely has a character! The first knob you see is the CHARACTER knob. It controls the shift between softer and louder samples, while maintaining the same apparent volume. So ultimately, this is tone control.
