- You must have the latest version of TEAM R2R System installed ► DOWNLOAD
- Install Ableton Live 12 Suite Installer.exe
- Place the vcruntime140_1.dll file in the folder with the installed program (Default C:\ProgramData\Ableton\Live 12 Suite\Program)
IMPORTANT!
NEVER try to place the vcruntime140_1.dll file in the system32 folder !!!
NEVER try overwriting the “vcruntime140_1.dll” in the system32 dir!
- Launch Ableton Live Suite and click “No internet on this computer” in the window that appears.
Copy “Your hardware code” from the window that appears . Note: When you click “Save”, you can get a text file with the code. - Run WM_Ableton.r2rwm , paste the copied code, press
GENERATE
and save the resulting file Authorize.auz .
- Drag the received file into the “Authorizing your software offline” registration window.Note: If you are unable to drag the license file into the program window, close Ableton Live Suite and launch the resulting license file using (“Open with”) Ableton Live Suite.You can update (after updating, if necessary, re-place thevcruntime140_1.dllinto the folder with the installed program)
Note: - If your registration failed, check if your antivirus has deleted the vcruntime140_1.dll file from the program folder. If so, add the program’s installation folder to your antivirus’s exclusions and restore the deleted file.
- Registration may also fail because your installed and disinfected version has automatically updated. If you don’t want automatic updates, disable them.
(Options > Preferences > Licenses Maintenance > Get Automatic Updates > Never)
same problem like other ABleton 12 , I did everything exactly like you told, even installed R2R systems , everything.
And i am using your website from many many years, i know what to do or not, i have followd every step , but not even giving no or no authorized warning , it just open same window for Register or offline
copy the vcruntime onto the program folder of ableton. without the vcruntime it won’t recognize the license
bro i already copied it , and my antivirus and defender is off , i know the process , and i have installed it earlier, even i had installed the earlier version of 12 with 11 side by side.

i installed r2r system
installed ableton.exe
copied vcruntime140_1 to program data , ableton , program
opened ableton , choe no internet , saved the file , copied code to WM_Ableton.r2rwm , generated AUTH file , and , copied AUTH file to Program data , and from there i tried to drag and drop but it wasnt funcational , then i Drag and Dropped AUTH to Ableton Application , also after it didnt worked, i tried opening AUTH file with Open with Abelton 12 ( because i have ableton 11 also) , it even dont give message that authorization failed or anything , it reopened that panel which asks to register
also when opening ableton 1st time , it asks for network permission , which i denied , please reply ASAP
i am asking for same solution for ableton 12 from many months but no expert or anyone whose, ableton worked replied back
maybe the antivirus is removing the vcruntime because mine is working normally as it should
it keep telling me that it can’t be authorizhed because of some internal problem and therefore the link to ablteon.com, suggestion?
nope, antivirus is disabled, also i can see vcruntime file , its still there, i have pasted it in installation directory, still no luck
