Who is Lil Hank, the DJ’s best canine friend? Although this mysterious, wonder-dog remains anonymous to the public, we are proud to release the world’s first multi-species sample pack: “Man’s Best Friend.” Lil Hank and his pal—producer and sound engineer extraordinaire Josh Pan—have been hard at work on percussion, digging up the backyard and crafting synth patches for you to sink your teeth into.
Here’s Josh’s take on being part of this pet-inspired release:
“I never imagined that making music and samples with a dog could be so rewarding. Hank and I have known each other for a couple of years now, and our respective styles have truly taken shape during our time spent in the studio and collaborating with other artists in Los Angeles. We hope this pack gives people more ammunition to create fire tracks that both humans and animals can appreciate.” — Josh Pan
