These encompass live drum loops, 808 loops, sequenced loops, and percussion loops—spanning over three decades of styles and blending influences from Led Zeppelin, James Brown, Afrika Bambaataa, and The Chemical Brothers.
This collection of original breaks was recorded and processed to achieve classic sonic warmth, delivering authentic analog cassette and reel-to-reel tape sounds. Many live drum loops were recorded in various locations using multiple mic positions, providing natural reverb and acoustic variety. In addition to live breaks, the collection covers electronic beats created with a JoMoX MFB-522 drum computer, sampled through a Tascam 38 reel-to-reel, a Tascam Porta One cassette recorder, and an RME Fireface 800 for crystal-clear audio conversion.
