Description :
Nuendo 15 introduces unique and time-saving features for dialogue editors, mixing and recording engineers,
as well as new integrated workflows.
The program has acquired the Analyzer Track feature, which, according to the developers, can accurately measure and visualize dialogue intelligibility. Based on Fraunhofer IDMT technology, it uses color coding to instantly identify problem areas and includes adjustable thresholds to align dialogue with broadcast specifications. Additionally, the film mixing automation system has been improved, offering a new, compact vertical view. New automation features include: the ability to select parameters by simply tapping the plug-in controls; Copy/Paste automation; selecting individual tracks in lock mode; a clearer visual display of automation states, and much more.
The DAW boasts automatic file splitting and merging according to the selected track layout (large clips can be quickly split into structured tracks, and mono files can be combined into stereo pairs during import or across multiple tracks). Additionally, MXF video and audio tracks can be directly imported from OP1a containers, supporting AVC Intra 50/100/200 and MPEG-2 codec compatibility. Support for other formats is expected in future updates. The new product features a modernized Hub for faster and easier session launches, including resizable panels, project previews, and enhanced search/filtering capabilities, as well as a redesigned ADR panel for a clearer visual structure.
Other update highlights include: MPF and MXF/S ADM import support (complete scene metadata can be imported into a session); new resolution and encoding options for video export (a range of presets, software/graphics encoding, and support for text overlays from the active marker track, allowing timecode, dialog, and other ADR attributes to be embedded in exported video); fast audio rendering (faster previews and intermediate results during active sessions); all new sound design features added in Cubase 15 are now present in Nuendo; UltraShaper plug-in (combines transient shaping, clip limiting, and EQ); PitchShifter plug-in; OmniVocal plug-in (natural-sounding synthesized vocals); six new modulators.
If you previously installed TEAM R2R Network Block Runtime, uninstall it! _ To uninstall, run unins000.exe in the C:\Program Files\TEAM R2R\Network Block Runtime folder.
1. _ Install TEAM R2R System v1.4.2.exe
2. _ Install Setup Steinberg Silk Emulator v1.5.0.exe
3. _ Reboot the OS
Delete the previous version (recommendation from R2R, so it’s your discretion)
4. _ Install Steinberg Mediabay _ (This is necessary for the content browser to work. Without Mediabay , the content may be empty.)
5. _ Install Nuendo15.msi
6. _ Place the Content folder in : C:\ProgramData\Steinberg\ Note:
R2R does not mention installing the R2RCA.cer certificate in the instructions, but it has been added to the distribution just in case.
