Discover the secret methods professional artists use in their daily work. Explore the mistakes, creative choices, and happy accidents that lead to the final quality of House, Tech House, and Techno products.
Tuff London is a duo consisting of Ben Keane and Sam Townend. They have achieved success with releases like Front Line, Sending Love, and Save My Soul. They describe their sound as a pumping house groove with a “precise rhythm.” “London had a unique take on House and Techno at the time, with artists like Sharp Boys, Steve Thomas, Trevor Rockcliffe, and Alan Thompson shaping a distinct sound,” explains Ben. “That’s where our love for Tough House music originated. It’s definitely what Tuff London’s music is primarily inspired by. We want to capture that raucous party atmosphere that gives you butterflies in your stomach, making you want to punch the air like crazy.”
Their alchemy in the studio is clearly paying off, and for the first time, they’ve opened their session to show you exactly how they make music! Like any course in the Uncut series, it’s actionable and shows every step they take, starting from scratch.
The goal of this course is to show how this prolific production team not only goes to great lengths to launch a project, but also how they work to bring it to completion.
